Points System

The certificat of merite recompenses horses who have obtained a certain number of points in shows either in In hand showing or ridden events.

Put in place in 1990, the points are added each year from the 1st january till 15 december. To take part in the points system the person must be a current member of the association and must send in the points paper (filled in) before the end of the year with a copie of the horses paper.

For In hand showing only shows organised or approuved by the association count.

In ridden events, all shows listed FFE in all diciplines count. In western events (outside FFE) only events organised by  the AFEW or other approuved associations count (contact  the association for more details).

Ridden events organised by the association during their shows count.

The leisure events and participating at Equirando & Equirando junior also count for the points system.
